How to Price Private Yoga Sessions

Private clients are the fastest way to a 6-figure income. But most teachers undercharge. They take their studio rate ($30) and double it ($60). This is a mistake.

The "3x" Rule

Your private rate should be at least 3x the average drop-in rate in your city. If a class is $30, your private is $90 minimum.

Factor in "Invisible" Time

A 60-minute private is actually 2 hours of work:

• 30 mins travel there
• 15 mins setup/chat
• 60 mins teach
• 15 mins breakdown
• 30 mins travel back

If you charge $90, you are actually making $36/hour. Don't be afraid to charge $120 or $150.
