How to Host Your First Yoga Workshop (And Sell It Out)

Regular classes pay the bills. Workshops build the bank account. If you are tired of the $50/hour grind, it is time to launch your first workshop.
The Topic: Go Narrow
Don't teach "Yoga for Beginners." Teach "Yoga for Cyclists with Tight Hamstrings." Specificity sells. Solve a specific pain point for a specific person.
The Pricing Math
A regular class is $25. A 2-hour workshop should be $50-$75.
If you rent a studio for 3 hours (2 teaching + 1 setup) at $50/hr, your cost is $150.
If you sell 10 tickets at $60, your revenue is $600.
Profit: $450 for 3 hours work ($150/hour).
The Venue
Use Studio Planner to find a "Premium" space. Workshops need better ambiance than a regular gym. Look for natural light, props, and a sound system.
